The Word is a visual performance institution that promotes goodness, love and life. 

We have existed in some form since 2009 in Raleigh, NC and are currently operating in Albuquerque NM. We believe that dedicated artistic integrity and a life affirming message is a foundation of healing and positive self-worth. 

We identify local artists to perform their craft as well as nationally and internationally accomplished artists at our events. We believe the Earth is a living sacred being and we support our local and global community in maintaining a harmonious coexistence with humanity. 

We believe in gratitude and the power of humility and leaving any space in a better place than when we first found it. We thank you for visiting our site and we look forward to sharing space with you as well.
